In a press meeting he revealed the idea behind choosing his consitutency
" Leaders should not have any particular constituency. They should be able to win the support of people from any part of the state"
A really big statement! Whether Vijayakant fares well in politics or not is not our headache!
Let us see what the Congress boasts off... young turks...foreign educated, visionaries, the future of india.. Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Pilot etc
All these well-educated ones want to be elected from un-educated, illiterate masses. It is sad that they are not brave enough to stand from Delhi, Bangalore or Kolkatta. They prefer to be elected from the ones who doesn't care anout their education.
Naidu, the Tech Savy CM prefers Kuppam than Secunderabad or Hyderabad.
Sonia prefers Amethi than Delhi. Sad that she feared losing amethi and contested in (yeah you got it).. remote village of karnataka.. bellary
Dear leaders, let Amethi, Kuppam or Andipatti (Jayalalithaa's consituency) elect a leader of their choice .. a Kisan may be. Be brave enough to stand in state capitals where more educate people live!!!!

Good one, I am sure Congress will not be bold enough even if Rahul is. If Rahul loses the election contesting in Delhi, then Sonia's sole goal will be demolished

Who will try to contest from a unsure seat. If BJP wins a huge majority and if Advani loses, will the BJP make him PM.. you will see the real politicians when something like that happens

it is foolish to say that hyderabad is a city teeming with literates. north indian labourers and immigrants, illiterate moslems, religious fanatics, people who have migrated from the nearby villages. This is what makes up the majority. No wonder MLA's of parties like MIM can beat up a lady (taslima nasreen) and escape scot-free. If you mentioned visakhapatnam instead of hyderabad I might have agreed.
